Happy New Year!!!
It’s a brand-new year, and you know what that means! It’s time to hit the reset button and feel determined to become the best, healthiest version of yourself possible. Yep! The good ol’ New Year resolutions are at the forefront of our thoughts.
Every year millions of people across the globe set new year resolutions. In the United States, 38.5% of people set goals on January 1 every year. Believe it or not, the top three resolutions are health-related – exercising more, eating healthier, and losing weight.
Unfortunately, 23% will quit in their first week, and only 36% will make it past the first month. 9% will successfully keep their New Year resolutions. Those could be better stats.
The struggle is real. We all know how hard it is to make healthy changes. But why is it so hard? You have decided that your life will be much better if you put in the effort and get up an hour earlier every morning to exercise. Yet, you still find yourself hitting the snooze button for the extra hour of sleep – again.
People don’t fail to reach their goals because they don’t have a real desire for change. In fact, this can not be further from the truth. People don’t change because change is hard!
The top three reasons people fail to reach their goals are because they have conflicting priorities. They are impatient about outcomes and have low confidence in making positive changes. Do any of these resonate with you?
What if I told you healthy change could be easy?
